NEW JOB SCOPES
- All MOs are expected to be located in the patient preparation room in all modalities.
- You are expected to insert IV lines for all patients as needed. The nurses will be there to assist you. While inserting the IV line, you can also take the radiology consent on top of the procedure consents.
- You are also expected to give IV contrast (for MRI and CT) especially the ones which need to be given via boluses. For the ones needed contrast injector, these will be done by the radiographers.
- However, MOs will need to also be responsible to ensure the patency of the IV lines prior to the injector usages.
These applies to all of your posted areas.
These includes all modality rooms in SASMEC and Nuclear Medicine postings in JHC.
